Joan has had extensive media exposure as a leading scientist, a NASA senior executive, and now a popular author. She had a cameo appearance in Worldfest's 2008 award-winning film "The Art of Victory." She has been interviewed on radio by National Public Radio, London Broadcasting, the British Broadcasting Corporation, Associated Press and Al Jazeera English TV.
